BB Stool by Eny Lee Parker

Inspired by old-school radiators that are ubiquitous in pre-war New York City apartments, the BB stool’s uniform lines resemble the fins found on the heat exchanger. “It’s funny how radiators are unapologetically there in the middle of a room,” says designer Eny Lee Parker. “They don’t necessarily function as a furniture piece, but they look like they could be.” The seat — upholstered in cotton velvet by a father-son duo in Long Island City — first debuted at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in 2018, where Parker was awarded the title of Best New Emerging Designer.
